MUHAMMAD IQBAL BIN AZMI

Iqbal Azmi is the Founder and the Managing Partner of Messrs Iqbal I’zzudin & Partners. With a strong foundation in legal practice he has establish a reputation for providing effective legal representation to both individuals and businessess.
Graduating with and LL.B (Hons) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Iqbal Azmi has accumulated extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, employment and industrial relations, as well as estate planning and probate. His expertise spans across various legal sectors, assisting clients in navigating complex legal matters with precision and clarity. He believes that every case requires a tailored approach which to ensure that clients receive comprehensive legal guidance that alligns with their unique needs.
AHMAD I’ZZUDIN BIN AHMAD NADZRI

I’zzudin Nadzri is the Founding Partner of Messrs Iqbal I’zzudin & Partners. As a legal practitioner, he brings a wealth of experience in corporate law, commercial litigation, regulatory compliance and alternative dispute resolution. Holding an LL.B(Hons) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and having been called to the Malaysian Bar, Izzudin Nadzri has demonstrated an exceptional legal acumen in navigating legal landscapes, ensuring clients receive comprehensive and strategic counsel.
Furthermore, I’zzudin Nadzri obtained his Diploma in Sharia Practice from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UITM), which expands his expertise in Islamic Family Law and Islamic Inheritance Law.
Beyond legal practice, Izzudin Nadzri is an active contributor to regularly publishing analytical pieces on online platforms and engaging in discourse on emerging legal issues. He remains steadfast in upholding the highest standards of legal practice, ensuring that the firm continues to be a trusted legal partner for individuals and corporations alike.
AMANDA HOR SU FANG
Amanda Hor Su Fang is a Partner at Iqbal I’zzudin & Partners and an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
Amanda’s practice spans estate planning, probate, and advisory work, while she continues to handle selected civil litigation and conveyancing matters. She advises clients on will drafting, estate administration, and letters of administration applications, and actively develops her expertise in advanced estate and wealth planning, including trusts and family office structures. Amanda believes in maintaining broad exposure across different areas of law to best serve her clients, and is committed to providing clear and practical guidance in navigating legal processes.
Prior to joining her current firm, Amanda gained experience in conveyancing and civil litigation, handling matters including developer project and sub-sale transactions, loan documentation, perfection of transfer and charge, discharge of charges, debt recovery, transaction disputes, mediation, and procedural advisory work. She has been involved in several mediation matters and has assisted in resolving disputes through settlement.
In addition to her legal practice, Amanda is an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer and participates in legal education initiatives. She was a speaker at a deaf summit, discussing the need for a BIM Act in Malaysia to promote inclusivity and access to justice. She is also learning Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia (BIM) to better serve the deaf community.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and Cantonese, with a basic working knowledge of sign language, Amanda adopts a careful and client-focused approach to her practice, guided by integrity, diligence, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
MARHAKIM BIN MARZELAN

Marhakim is a distinguished legal practitioner characterized by a rare and comprehensive expertise in both the Civil and Syariah legal systems. His practice is built on a foundation of versatile advocacy, allowing his to represent clients across a broad spectrum of legal challenges, from the complexities of Criminal Litigation to the intricacies of Civil Disputes.
A significant cornerstone of his practice is his specialized work in Estate Administration and Private Client matters. Marhakim is highly regarded for her proficiency in Letters of Administration (LA) and Probate, ensuring the seamless preservation and distribution of family legacies. Notably, he possesses niche expertise in Section 58 of the Mental Health Act 2001, where he assists families in navigating the sensitive legal process of managing the affairs and estates of persons lacking mental capacity.
As a qualified Syariah Counsel, he offers a holistic perspective on matrimonial and inheritance matters, bridging the gap for clients who require expertise across dual jurisdictions. Whether he is defending a client’s rights in a criminal proceeding, managing complex mental health applications, or providing counsel on sensitive family transitions, Marhakim is recognized for his strategic clarity, meticulous preparation, and unwavering commitment to justice.
AMIDI BIN SALIM

Amidi graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia with a Bachelor of Law (LLB) Honours and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya after completing his pupilage with Messrs. Hisham Sobri & Kadir.
Amidi brings extensive experience in litigation, having appeared regularly before both the Subordinate Courts and the Superior Courts in Malaysia. His core area of practice is general, banking litigation and debt recovery, with a strong emphasis on personal financing, SME financing, and home financing. He has expertise in matters involving Islamic finance and Shariah-compliant financial instruments.
In addition to his debt recovery portfolio, Amidi manages a wide range of general litigation matters, including but not limited to:
Contractual disputes, such as construction, tenancy, and franchise-related claims;
Debt recovery involving trade debtors;
Tortious claims; and
Disputes relating to housing developments and land matters.
Complementing his private practice background, Amidi also served as a Legal Executive at a publicly listed oil and gas company previously, where he handled corporate advisory, contract management, and regulatory compliance matters. This role provided him with valuable insight into internal corporate operations and decision-making processes, which informs his strategic and commercially attuned litigation approach. Before joining IIP, Amidi previously practised with small and medium-sized law firms, where he was entrusted with a wide spectrum of banking and general civil litigation matters, ranging from advisory work to contested proceedings.

Graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and with a sharp business acumen, he ensures the firm operates efficiently, strategically expanding its reach while maintaining the highest standards of legal service.
Bridging the gap between legal expertise and business strategy, Said Farid oversees operational workflows, financial planning, client relations and firm growth initiatives. He is instrumental in streamlining processes, optimising resources, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance the firm’s competitiveness in an evolving legal landscape.
